Video Processor

The PXLVISION™ 4K Video Processor is a real-time image enhancement system powered by DARBEE Visual Presence™ (DVP), a proprietary computational image processing technology designed to achieve perceptual depth and clarity beyond what conventional cameras and displays offer.

All digital imaging systems, including high-end 4K cameras, fundamentally record a flat, single-perspective signal. Human vision, by contrast, interprets depth, texture, and spatial relationships through complex neural processing. DVP bridges this gap by applying a biologically inspired, pixel-level transformation that enhances depth cues, without altering the source resolution.

Unlike traditional image enhancement methods that rely on edge boosting, sharpening, or colour manipulation, DVP operates as a luminance-based modulation layer that reconstructs missing perceptual information. The result is a more natural visual experience with improved object separation, increased texture fidelity, and greater overall realism.

DVP can be applied to any content after capture and integrates seamlessly into existing and future video pipelines. It is display-agnostic and fidelity-agnostic, and it complements all major image quality factors. Whether applied to legacy HD content or modern 4K sources, DVP consistently elevates perceived image quality without compromising signal integrity. The immersive and natural image depth benefits are achieved without adding extra hardware technology to the display.
