Gravis I, the most compact powered subwoofer in the Gravis collection, effortlessly harmonises with diverse listening environments and audio systems. Gravis I seamlessly complements the aesthetics and acoustic characteristics of the Sonus faber Lumina collection and the smaller Sonetto bookshelf models, such as Sonetto I & II.

SEPARATE VOLUME CONTROLS
The independent volume controls for high-level and line/LFE offer effortless calibration for both music and home theatre applications, eliminating the need for constant adjustments. The High-Level Connection ensures a seamless fusion with main speakers during music playback, while the LFE input enhances the immersive home theatre experience.
SPEAKER UNIT
Gravis I features an 8” Ultra Long Throw down-firing speaker unit along with a high current 150W Class AB amplifier, giving it accurate and expressive bass reproduction well beyond its class.
THE REAR PANEL
Gravis I rear panel features a complete connectivity solution that allows for both perfectly blended musical sub bass and powerful, percussive, home theatre bass.

The first pioneering project by Franco Serblin, founder of Sonus faber. A completely new concept for that time, an all-in-one system entirely made in solid wood.
On March 25, 1983 Sonus faber becomes a company in its first headquarter, a small laboratory in Monteviale, on the hills of Vicenza.
