Inspired by the original LS2 line stage that received numerous awards worldwide in 1992, the modern LS-2 delivers eye-opening performance, and a sense of musical engagement, that was not previously available at its price point.

The LS-2 is a pure tube, zero feedback, pure Class-A design. There are two 6H30 tubes at its heart. It plays big, reproducing the size and space of the recording venue, with pinpoint imaging.

With great clarity and finesse, the LS-2 possesses a wonderful musicality with the harmonic richness and timbral magic of dual-triode vacuum tubes. There is weight, dynamic swing, with a natural resolution of detail.

The chassis, shared with the LS-2, is elegant and modern, while providing a silhouette that is instantly recognizable as an Audio Research.

An all-new touch screen display allows for input naming, adjustment of the display intensity and colour selection, plus many other functions. The display carries forward the font style of our Reference GhostMeters® for a cohesive look.
