Proven via hours of testing and field demo sessions with all manner of hi-fi equipment, Shawline can benefit all systems including those with older components.

The Shawline range boasts a dedicated tone arm cable, mini-jack options, HDMI AOC, power cables with multiple connector options, speaker cable and a variety of digital connections.

The Chord Company ShawlineX ARAY analogue cables are fitted with ChorAlloy™plated VEE 3 RCA, DIN, mini-jack or XLR connectors.

Why XLPE?

The construction and specification of all Chord Company cables are constantly evolving, allowing them to adapt quickly and take advantage of the latest technology.

Insulation materials in particular have made great leaps forward which is why they are moving to XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) wherever possible.

After a succesful introduction via various Chord Company speaker cables it was logical to share the benefits of XLPE insulation with their interconnects.

On the surface this would appear to be a fairly simple undertaking but, like many of these things, it got complicated..

Several versions and much field testing later they are very happy to announce that XLPE will now be incorporated into all Shawline analogue interconnects.

The new upgraded analogue cable retains the same high-performance shielding architecture and ARAY technology as its predecessor.

ShawlineX ARAY Analogue RCA

Their unique ARAY technology cables are hand built, with precision, in the UK. ShawlineX RCA features the latest XLPE insulated, silver-plated conductors and a composite shield that works over a wide bandwidth.

ShawlineX RCA cables are turntable-ready as standard.

Fitted with Chord VEE 3 ChorAlloy™plated RCA plugs and available in 0.5 and 1m standard lengths with custom lengths/terminations to order including tone arm and mini-jack options.
