Brand

Epson

Seiko Epson Corporation, commonly known as Epson, is a Japanese multinational electronics company and one of the world's largest manufacturers of printers and information- and imaging-related equipment. Headquartered in Suwa, Nagano, Japan,[7] the company has numerous subsidiaries worldwide and manufactures inkjet, dot matrix, thermal and laser printers for consumer, business and industrial use, scanners, laptop and desktop computers, video projectors, watches, point of sale systems, robots and industrial automation equipment, semiconductor devices, crystal oscillators, sensing systems and other associated electronic components. Seiko Epson Corporation entered the projector market in the late 1980s and quickly became a leader by pioneering LCD-based projection, including one of the first full-colour LCD projectors in 1989. Its development of 3LCD technology in the 1990s enabled brighter, more accurate images and helped establish it as a dominant global brand, especially in education and business. From the 2000s onward, Epson expanded into home cinema with higher resolutions like Full HD and 4K-enhanced projection, and in recent years has focused on laser light sources, ultra-short throw designs, and smart features, maintaining its position as a leading innovator in modern projector technology.
