The Kaleidescape System comprises three primary components: Servers, Movie Players and Music Players. They can be combined in myriad ways to deliver movies and music seamlessly throughout your home.
The new Movie Player 2 features a built-in CD/DVD combo drive that allows you to import the entertainment you own or view DVDs you rent or borrow. This next generation of Kaleidescape products enables the Kaleidescape Experience to be more accessible and flexible than ever before.
Kaleidescape Servers are engineered to reliably store your movie and music collection. The Servers include Kaleidescape’s proprietary storage technology to protect your entertainment investment. As your collection grows you can add additional Kaleidescape Disk Cartridges to increase storage for your movies and music. Multiple Servers can be grouped in a single System to store thousands of movies and tens of thousands of albums as a single collection. Once your movies and music are stored on your Kaleidescape System, they can be enjoyed instantly in any Player-equipped room.

Kaleidescape’s Movie Guide Service provides patent-pending video bookmarks that let you jump instantly to the beginning of the movie, to your favorite television episode or to a trailer. With the Kaleidescape System, you can mark your favorite movie scenes and easily create scripts for a theatrical experience right in your own home, complete with previews, an intermission and your feature presentation.
