V10+ Subwoofer

The V10+ delivers an opportunity for consumers to enjoy that legendary deep and accurate bass for which M&K Sound is world-renowned in a compact and affordable package.

The new subwoofer allows a wider audience to experience ‘The Choice of Professionals’ and listen to movies and music the way they are meant to be heard.

The manageable form factor of the beautifully designed V10+ (available in black satin or white satin finishes) with new curved cabinet design means it can be placed almost anywhere in a residential or office environment without drawing attention to itself.

V12+ Subwoofer

New and convenient M&K App control from a seated position (V15+, V12+)
Both the V15+ and V12+ subwoofers enable configuration from the comfort of a seated position via the convenient, downloadable M&K App, available at the Apple Store or Google Play Store. As well as adjustments to volume, crossover frequency, delay and phase, the state-of-the-art M&K App provides onboard control options for new owners to set up Manual EQ and Auto EQ parameters.

Manual EQ allows users to adjust frequency, gain and ‘Q’ of four independent EQs. Auto EQ compensates and corrects for acoustical room anomalies which can cause inferior bass performance. By taking measurements in and around the prime listening position, the proprietary M&K App applies acoustical corrections to deliver optimized listening conditions and reference bass performance in any home environment.

V15+ subwoofer

Sleek designs and compact form factors
The compact V+ Series subwoofers offer new curved and tapered external housings, making them both discreet and ideal for placement within family rooms or design-conscious environments. The manageable cuboid form factors include perfect square faceplates measuring 18.5 inches2 (V15+), 15.5 inches2 (V12+), and 13.5 inches2 (V10+).

The MK Sound team of engineers have increased the amplifier power output over the former V Series for all three new V+ subwoofers. Furthermore, the V15+ represents the first 15-inch driver enclosure to join the V family of products, while the V10+ and V12+ have had their deep bass frequency response extended from 25Hz (on the former V12 and V10 models) down to a thunderous 20Hz (-6dB).

M&K Sound

At M&K Sound, they design loudspeakers to sound inherently right, to be universal tools, equally adept with any style of music or movie soundtrack, in stereo or surround. While other manufacturers were building audio dinosaurs in the form of coffin-sized boxes, M&K led the way into the future with the world’s first satellite/subwoofer system, David & Goliath in 1976. The following year, M&K introduced the Volkswoofer, the world’s first subwoofer with a built-in, dedicated power amplifier. The journey began in 1973, when Walter Becker of Steely Dan commissioned M&K to design a studio reference subwoofer and monitoring system for the Pretzel Logic LP mixing sessions. The result was the world’s first balanced dual-drive subwoofer and Pretzel Logic went on to become a million-selling Top Ten hit and one of Rolling Stone magazine’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. M&K Sound combined expertise in live music recording (RealTime Records) and loudspeaker design, drawing heavily on the research and acoustics back­ground of Dr. Lester Field, who had worked at Bell Telephone Research Laboratories and been a full professor at both California Institute of Technology and Stanford University, before retiring as Chief Scientist and vice president of research at Hughes Aircraft Corporation. By combining creativity, critical listening and extensive experience in live sound re­cording with scientific methodology and experience, the foundation of M&K Sound was set. As word of mouth spread rapidly throughout the music and movie industries, M&K Sound systems were created for leading studios, as well as home installations for producers, directors, actors and recording artists.
