The lute shape that characterises most of the Sonus faber models has been redesigned to ensures the delivery of the perfect control over internal resonances.
THE VOICE OF SONUS FABER
The Sonetto I carries the “Voice of Sonus faber” with its use of the brand new mid-woofer featuring the flower patterned surround and a newly optimised duct design.
Developed with inspirations found in nature, their signature Natural Sound delivers a rich and pristine listening experience.
The rubber driver surround utilises a unique floral pattern that encases the sandwich cone structure of the Sonetto I mid-woofers.
Its asymmetric shape breaks the circular modes of the driver and ensures greater linearity in sound reproduction, reducing interference and improving sound dispersion.
CONCRETE BASE
With the introduction of a new concrete base, the Sonetto G2 series not only enhances the stability of its speakers but also reinforces their structural integrity.
This innovative addition provides a solid foundation that minimises vibrations and ensures optimal performance, particularly in demanding listening environments.
INTONO TECHNOLOGY
Sonus faber Intono technology offers a construction solution designed to eliminate unwanted frequencies and distortions within the cabinet, resulting in a quieter cabinet and an overall enhanced sound performance.
Implemented in the Sonetto I and II speakers, Intono sits between the reflex duct and the internal acoustic chamber.
REFLEX DUCT
As with each speaker in the Sonetto G2 Collection, Sonetto I boasts a newly optimised duct design, strategically engineered to enhance flexibility in speaker placement.

The first pioneering project by Franco Serblin, founder of Sonus faber. A completely new concept for that time, an all-in-one system entirely made in solid wood.
On March 25, 1983 Sonus faber becomes a company in its first headquarter, a small laboratory in Monteviale, on the hills of Vicenza.
