The Nu-Vista Vinyl S delivers the luxurious sound of Musical Fidelity’s nuvistor tube technology at a more accessible price, with a compact design and uncompromising performance.

Refined Design, Compact Footprint

The Nu-Vista Vinyl S retains the signature aesthetic and build quality of its predecessor while introducing a new, slimmer “S” chassis.

With a 45% reduction in mechanical footprint, it offers the same tactile luxury and robust construction in a more space-efficient form.

Milled from extruded aluminium, the chassis acts as a Faraday cage, shielding sensitive components from vibration and electromagnetic interference.

The streamlined aluminium remote control completes this elegant package.

Balanced Architecture for Pure Sound

Nu-Vista Vinyl S-silver

At its core, the Vinyl S features fully balanced, discrete Class A circuitry, mirroring the acclaimed Nu-Vista Vinyl 2.

Its phono preamplification includes three gain stages and a split-passive EQ design, ensuring precise RIAA, DECCA, and COLUMBIA curve reproduction.

Each channel has its own board and balanced Nuvistor stage, delivering ultra-low noise and distortion. RCA and XLR outputs operate independently, allowing simultaneous use.

Versatile Cartridge Compatibility

phono stage internals

The Vinyl S offers extreme cartridge loading flexibility, with each RCA or XLR input configurable for MM or MC cartridges.

Settings are stored per input and offers gain ranges from 40dB to 69dB (100x to 3690x amplification).

Signal relays and JFET-switched capacitance and impedance ensure silent, distortion-free operation.

This makes it ideal for matching with virtually any cartridge, preserving the artist’s intent with astonishing clarity.

Power and Precision

Musical Fidelity’s Super Silent Power Transformers power the Vinyl S, featuring EMI filters, DC blockers, and encapsulated toroidal transformers for minimal interference.

Each channel benefits from its own symmetrical low-noise power supply, with passive filtering and regulation.

DC servos maintain optimal operating conditions, ensuring every microvolt from your cartridge is handled with the utmost care.
