TWO-STAGE PENDULUM STRUCTURE – HiFi Audio Board

Two-Stage Multi-Pendulum System Inherited from the Double4548 and Delta Extreme II

At the heart of the TYPE II Series is a two-stage multi-pendulum system, derived from the same principle used in gravitational-wave detection.

By attenuating floor- and rack-borne vibration with exceptional precision, it provides a quieter mechanical foundation for high-resolution audio playback.

When the quality factor (Q) is sufficiently high, a multi-stage pendulum with resonant frequency f₀ provides an attenuation characteristic of H(f) ≈ (f₀/f)²ⁿ for n stages.

For the WELLFLOAT TYPE II Series, where f₀ = 3 Hz, the theoretical vibration transmissibility at f = 300 Hz is 10⁻⁸ with two stages.

  • DESIGN: 4 WELLFLOAT mechanisms × 2 stages
  • MATERIALS: MDF and rigid stainless steel
  • LOAD CAPACITY: 70 kg (static load)
